Kava, or intoxicating pepper, has calming, pain-relieving and entheogenic properties. For centuries, kava was used in Oceania as a calming and ceremonial drink. However, it also has many other characteristics: for example, it is considered a natural cancer treatment that blocks tumour growth and has a chemopreventive effect. Ashwagandha, meanwhile, is one of the most sought-after herbal remedies and has been prescribed in Ayurveda since time immemorial for various diseases, to treat tumours as well as mental and physical exhaustion. Ashwagandha was actively used to address sexual dysfunction.
